Happy Plate 
Not sure if you’ve ever noticed the Manager Special items ate the grocery store… these are items close to their sell dates that the store offers for a great price! Although they are near the SELL date, this does not mean they will expire soon, especially if you plan on freezing.
The Manager Special offered at my store was Purdue’s oven ready roaster… simple enough right?
All you have to do is pop the entire chicken that’s already seasoned and clean into the oven in it’s cooking bag! fun! and soooo easy!
Chickens can be rather tedious and intimidating (hence me usually cooking just bone in breasts 
) so i thought i’d give it a shot!
NOT A FAN!!!
not only did the chicken take FOREVER to cook but it didn’t get the crisp skin i enjoy and was also difficult to check up on since it was in the bad. the directions say it should take 90-115 mins… def took longer!
this is why i tend to stink to homemade! much easier and more enjoyable because YOU made it

So after seeing this in ur fridge last week, I got curious and purchased this monster of a chicken. I put it on a roasting pan and roasted it for 1 hr 45 min, it was moist from
the bottom but the skin on top was mildly crispy. So it’s not terrible but yes it takes a while. Although the nice thing is that the guts r already taken out for u so u save time on that I guess.
